Cover Supervisor (Secondary School)
Location: Gosport, Hampshire
Salary: £95 - £130
Start Date: Immediate
A Secondary Academy with a broad academic and vocational curriculum with excellent Ofsted reports is seeking a driven and dependable Cover Supervisor to join their team!
This is an excellent opportunity for educators who want to gain valuable classroom experience or explore a future career in teaching.
The Role
You will supervise classes of students aged 11-16 during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and productively. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre‑planned lessons, managing behaviour in line with school policies, and maintaining a focused learning environment. The role may also involve providing additional support to students with special educational needs.

- Proven experience working with students in a secondary school setting
- Confident, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to classroom needs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with students
- A genuine passion for supporting, motivating, and inspiring young people
- Willing and able to deliver a variety of subjects with flexibility and enthusiasm
