Job Opportunity: General Supply Teacher
Location: Bedfordshire
Contract Type: Supply (as needed)
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Start Date: Monday 2nd September 2025
Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
Are you a flexible and enthusiastic teacher looking to make a real difference in a warm, welcoming school community? We are looking for a General Supply Teacher to join our supportive team in a Bedford Primary school on a flexible basis starting Monday 2nd September.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a confident and adaptable teacher who is comfortable covering across all year groups (Reception to Year 6) as required. Whether you’re an experienced educator or an ECT looking to gain diverse classroom experience, we’d love to hear from you.
You will:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher

Follow school policies and ensure consistency in classroom routines

Support pupils’ academic and personal development

Work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
