You will take on full class responsibility within Key Stage 2, with the year group based on your experience and the needs of the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures every learner
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring support where needed
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, safety, and achievement
  • Embrace school values and contribute to whole-school development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Reflective, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
