A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Bedford is seeking a qualified Key Stage 2 specialist to join their team for the autumn term, with potential for extension.

You’ll take on full class teaching responsibilities, with the specific year group to be matched to your strengths and preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Track pupil progress and deliver targeted interventions where needed
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Promote high standards of behaviour and safeguarding

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A passion for helping children reach their full potential
