Science Teaching Assistant – Manchester
Have you experience with children and young adults? Have you got experience in assisting in the Science department in Secondary schools? Manchester Secondary has expressed a need in their Science department for a teaching assistant to help pupils more on a one to one basis. The position is a full time or pat time role dependant on the successful candidate.
The role of the Science teaching assistant will be working closely with the department head and working with pupils on more of a one to one basis to get them up to the national standard in the chosen core subject. Teaching personnel work on behalf some of the best schools in Manchester on a day to day basis and for more permanent roles too. The role of the Science teaching assistant will be perfect for any aspiring teacher to gain that first hand classroom experience. The science teaching assistant will be helping pupils who need the extra help. The role is a great way to get introduced into schools and find the most suitable post for you.

Good knowledge of the national curriculum will be beneficial but the successful candidate will develop a strong classroom presence which is a vital attribute that any aspiring teacher will need. The Teaching Assistant may require being able to teach pre set work to cover in the absence of teacher.
