Our client school situated in Oldham is currently seeking a Science teacher to start in September on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent.

This oversubscribed secondary school is located a short journey from the centre of Oldham near Broadway road. The school was recently refurbished and extended to manage the demands of the local community and to provide an environment that the pupils can thrive in, to further raise their attainment and progress. The majority of the students are of White British heritage and many are of the Bangladeshi heritage, therefore students with English as a second language is above the national average. In the most recent GCSE results the school achieved above the national averages for all major GCSE performance indicators.

Teachers of Science should have:

• UK qualified teacher status (NQTs are welcome to apply)

• Deliver challenging and motivating lessons specific to different ages and abilities

• Evaluate pupil’s performance and be dedicated to improving their progress and attainment.

• Have excellent behaviour management and classroom presence
