Our client Secondary school located in Rochdale is currently looking to appoint a teacher of Science for a maternity cover to start in September.

• Full time Science teacher- Temporary basis with opportunity to become permanent.

• Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

• Located in Milnrow, close to the M62 and easily accessible via public transport.

In 2011 the school moved into a brand new building which has provided the students with state of the art facilities in all subject areas and has enabled them to further develop the academic, cultural and sporting interests of all pupils. This is a high achieving and successful secondary school, which prides itself on its outstanding results with 70% of pupils achieving 2 A*-C grades in Science in 2016 and is currently in the top 8% in the country. The incoming science teacher will have:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status.

• An ability to deliver engaging lessons across age and ability range to raise attainment.

• Have excellent behaviour management and firm classroom presence.
