Are you a Science teaching looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client school are looking for a Science teacher for the May half term for a maternity cover.

• Full time Science teacher for May half term.

• Teaching science to KS3 and KS4 to engaging students.

• Competitive pay rates in line with MPS/UPS (£22,467 - £38,250).

• Working alongside a supportive Science Department.

This newly renovated school is much larger than most other secondary schools of a similar nature, with over 1200 students currently on roll. The school currently boasts brand new facilities with innovative and forward looking science facilities that both the pupils and the staff are proud of. This is a vastly improving school with the newly appointed head having a clear vision and determination that pupil’s progression is priority. In 2016 the pupils on average made more progress than their national average, as indicated by the p8 scale.

The school is situated in Rochdale, with easy access from the M62 and public transport, with the nearest tram station being a 15 minutes walk. The science department are looking for a qualified Science teacher that has previous experience working with students at KS3 and KS4 as they will be teaching and supporting pupils with their GCSE. Both newly qualified and experienced Science teachers are encouraged to apply as they will be highly supported by the Science department.
