A fantastic opportunity has arisen to teach Science at a leading South London Mainstream School and Sixth Form College.

JOB TITLE: Science Teacher

KEY STAGES: Required to teach Science to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS: Experience of teaching Biology or Chemistry to Key Stage 5 (KS5) would be an advantage

LOCATION: South West London (Ability to commute required).

SALARY: MPS / UPS Inner London Pay Scale for Permanent Teacher Contracts. £130 - £170 per day for a Long Term Supply Teacher.

CONTRACT: Vacancy for full time permanent position

START DATE: September 2016


Our client is an oversubscribed secondary school and sixth form college is located in South West London, the school is well established and has been graded 'Outstanding' in its most recent Ofsted Inspection. The school is well resourced and fully equipped in each department; they are now looking to add the Science Department due to progression within the department and expansion of the subject at A-Level.

Students at this school relish challenges set by their teachers and enjoy positive relationships with staff at the school. Student attainment is very high and currently over 80% of students achieve 5 A*- C grades at GCSE and 99% of students achieve at least a pass at A-Level.
