- September 2017
A Primary school in Neath has partnered with Teaching Personnel to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support in their Year 3 class on a long term basis.
This primary school is based relatively centrally in Neath and is close to the M4. Due to the small nature, the school has a very warm and welcoming culture.
Joining the school in September 2017, you will be responsible for supporting the Year 3 Class Teacher, providing general classroom support to pupils. This will involve assisting individual pupils with work, helping with class projects, working closely to ensure pupils are hitting target grades and generally ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained at all times.
In return, the successful candidate will be paid a competitive daily rate and will gain experience working in a Year 3 class with an outstanding teacher, as well as developing their Teaching Assistant skills.
Interested candidates should forward a covering letter and their CV to chantelle.sobey@teachingpersonnel.com or call Chantelle on 01792 473300 for more information. The deadline for this role is Tuesday June 20th 2017.
Applications will be considered once they are received, but due to the high volume of applicants we do reserve the right to close the vacancy early. Teaching Personnel will be conducting the relevant vetting checks and will assist in arranging the interviews for this position.
Teaching Personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Prior to employment, an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought along with other relevant checks.
