Teaching Personnel require Fully Qualified Special Needs Teachers to work in a number of environments including schools, specialist units and mainstream centres.
You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic and have a determination to succeed. Prior experience working in SEN is essential and applicants must hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
Candidates who are familiar with PEC’s, TEACCH system, signing (Makaton/BSL/sign-a-long) are strongly encouraged to apply as these skills will be very relevant to the role. A Team Teach qualification or relevant moving and handling experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Teaching Personnel are also able to provide a range of training; including Team Teach, Introduction to Autism and Moving and Handling.
