Supply teacher – Manchester

An exciting opportunity for a teacher has arisen a school in the East of Manchester is looking for a supply teacher. Do you have experience with children and young adults? Are you looking for day to day supply work with no marking and planning? The position is open for part time and full time work.

The Secondary school is over in the East of Manchester located just outside the city centre easily accessible by public transport. Teaching Personnel work on behalf of a number of schools across Manchester on a day to day basis and for long term roles too. The school over in the East of Manchester are looking for an individual that has excellent classroom control. The school has 74% of their students on free school meals there is more than double the national average eligible. SEN in the school is below national average, whereas students with English as their second language is nearly doubled the national average. The supply teacher would hugely benefit from having EAL experience.

The successful supply teacher will need to be flexible and adaptable as the work will consist of covering in the absence of teachers. The successful teacher will need to have good classroom control and an excellent presence throughout the classroom. The supply teacher will be working with a supportive faculty. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
