Full time General Cover Supervisors required - Salford based Secondary Schools, immediate start.

Teaching Personnel are seeking numerous General Cover Supervisors to work in their client Secondary schools across Salford, Greater Manchester, throughout the run up to summer and into the new academic year.

If you have experience working with young people in an education setting, flexible to cover a range of subjects across the board and wish to gain further experience teaching in a classroom capacity, please see the details below.

  • Full time General Cover Supervisor roles across Salford, starting immediately.
  • Must hold prior experience working with young people - additional experience within a education setting is highly beneficial.
  • Flexible to work in a range of subject specialisms across the curriculum.
  • Work with pupils at a range of learning abilities and age ranges.
  • Promote positive behaviour strategies in accordance with school behaviour policies.
  • Earn up to £1000- £1200 per month. Dependant upon experience.*

General Cover Supervisors are expected to be enthusiastic, passionate and innovative practitioners with knowledge of the school system alongside experience working with young people.

As a General Cover Supervisor you can expect to receive full support and have access to extensive CPD training programmes in place with our partner schools across Salford, the successful General Cover Supervisors will be working towards developing their teaching and learning.

Salford is easily accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Manchester. There are also a range of public transport options with links throughout Greater Manchester and beyond.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
