Job description

Do you have an Interest in supporting pupils with their GCSE or Functional Skills exams?

At TP Tutors we have the perfect role for you. We are looking for 1:1 tutors to work with pupils on their GCSE or Functional Skills exams in the Northamptonshire area. This can include a multitude of subjects but if you only specialise in one subject this is perfectly fine as we have a range of roles. 

If you are an FQT, TA or even a private tutor then this could be the perfect role for you. Our tuition allows for flexible working so timings can fit around your schedule. You can start of at as little as 5hrs per week all the way up to 25hrs.

What do we look for in a GCSE Tutor?

  • Passionate educators who want to make a difference and impact on pupils lives
  • A QTS or at least a minimum of 2 years previous teaching experience
  • Specialise in one or multiple subjects and have a strong subject knowledge
  • Resilience; being able to try something new if something doesn't work for a pupil

  • A rate between £25-£30 per hour dependant on funding and also experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
