Due to high demand, TP tutors are currently seeking GCSE Maths, English and Science Tutors throughout Northampton and the surrounding areas. Successful applicants MUST be confident tutoring all core subjects Maths, English and Science up to GCSE level, and have the relevant experience in supporting these subjects.
Successful applicants must have experience tutoring either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups and able to recognise where pupils require targeted intervention in these subjects.
Successful applicants will need:
- QTS or experience working with secondary aged children
- Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to plan and deliver your own engaging lesson, tailored to the student’s needs and ability
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour
- A kind, calm and patient approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils while maintain professional boundaries at all times
- Safeguarding training is essential to the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
