Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN provision to recruit a flexible Tutor for students with SEND in Key Stages 3 and 4. The candidate will primarily be working with students who are currently studying for their GCSE qualifications, there are many opportunities for tutoring at different times of the week and for students working at different levels. The role will be based in community centres, schools and library environments in surrounding areas of Hartlepool, and will commence as soon as possible.
The role will involve working with students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour, so you will be confident managing this within lesson times. Many of the students are living in foster care or children's homes and require a kind and nurturing personality to work with them. The ideal candidate will be patient and passionate about educating young people with SEN.
Teaching Personnel can offer tutors up to £25 per hour, and you will be able to work on a flexible basis! You will be supported by Teaching Personnel's team of specialist education recruitment consultants with education backgrounds, how are well placed to get you work.
