What is the Future Teachers Programme?
The Future Teachers Programme is a scheme designed to help address the current shortages of teachers, by attracting and supporting graduates who are considering a career in teaching, but wish to gain paid school based experience prior to starting a teacher training course.
How does it work?
You will begin your journey to teaching, working at one of our client secondary schools across Lincolnshire in September 2019. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will engage in a range of tasks to get a full feel of what it would be like to be a teacher.
Upon successful completion of your 1 years experience as a graduate teaching assistant, you can begin a school based teacher training programme from September 2020 within a lead training school.
What are the benefits?
You will have the opportunity to gain a year's invaluable experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with one of our reputable partner secondary schools and progress with the same school to do your teacher training on site! Best of all, you will earn up to £1080 a month for your first year whilst enhancing your confidence, subject knowledge and teaching ability prior to beginning your training.
Am I eligible to apply ?
Applicants interested in apply to our Future Teachers Programme are required to be educated to degree level or have completed your degree by Summer 2019. The school welcome applications from graduates across all subject areas including; English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, MFL and PE.
