French teacher needed for an upcoming maternity cover at a Stockport Secondary School from March. This is a full time French post until December 2019 initially with the potential to continue until next March dependant on the returning teacher.
The timetable will consist of French teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5 A level teaching. You will need to have experience delivering French up to A Level to be eligible for this post as this will be an essential requirement teaching in the schools sixth form.
This mixed comprehensive school is traditional in its nature with around 1200 students on roll in an affluent catchment area. Regularly achieving impressive academic results year on year the schools Ofsted report highlighted that student behaviour is good and they are engaged within their learning. In 2018 the school had a positive progress 8 score and had 70% of students achieving 5 A*-C grades in their GCSEs. There are low levels of students with SEN and low levels of students who use English ads an additional language.
Located in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school has a train station a short walk away and direct bus routes for those on public transport.

**Experience teaching in a UK secondary school and delivering French to A Level
**Available for full time work
