My client is looking to appoint a Teacher of French to join a strong and successful MFL department in Newport which has an extremely impressive record in securing outstanding levels of progress for all students. Due to an unexpected absence, our client school is in need of an MFL teacher who is capable of delivering French across Key Stage 3 and either to Key Stage 4. You will be predominantly teaching mixed ability Key Stage 3 pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal MFL teacher will be comfortable with French able to deliver consistently good lessons. The school achieved over 75% A*-C at GCSE for the last three years and Value Added data from RAISE online places the department in the first percentile nationally. The school have a fantastic succession plan for NQTs and has an outstanding track record of supporting NQTs through their teaching career.
Requirements of this post as an MFL teacher
* PGCE in Secondary MFL
* Experience teaching French to a minimum of Key Stage 3
* A willingness to contribute to the wider scale of the department and school in their efforts towards continued improvement
date The ideal candidate will have recent UK teaching experience and relevant teaching qualifications e.g. PGCE, BEd, BA (Hons) in Education with a specialism in secondary French (Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5). You must also have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
