Position: Geography Teacher
Location: NN3, Northampton

One of our clients Schools in Northampton is looking to recruit a teacher to join their Geography Faculty starting from September time to provide students across Key stages, 3, 4 and 5 with interesting and informative lessons to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the subject.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering Geography lessons to students of all ages and levels across the School as well as assessing and providing constructive feedback on their progress. It’s important for you to have an innovative and creative mindset in order to create interesting and different ways of teaching the students to ensure there is full understanding across the board. It is also ideal that you feel passionate about the subject to help inspire a love for Geography within your class’.
The school are located in a village very centrally to Northampton in NN3, and have been rated a ‘Good’ School by Ofsted. The subject is very popular amongst students in the school and can be taken from year 7 up to A-level.
Requirements
- A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Qualification in Geography is ideal
- Deep Understanding for Geographical concepts
- Experience working in Secondary Education
- A child only enhanced DBS
- An overseas police clearance (if applicable)
- Ability and want to guide and inspire the next generation
- Full time availability from September 2024

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
