Due to an open vacancy within the department, our client school in South Manchester are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Food Technology. The successful teacher will join the school in September 2019 and will be required until the end of the academic year. This is an open vacancy and therefore successful teachers will have the opportunity to earn a school contract.

The successful teacher will be a highly skilled professional with experience in delivering Food Technology at KS3, KS4. The ability to teach at KS5 would also be desirable but is not essential. We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro active teacher who has effective behaviour management skills and is passionate about working with young people, particularly those who have become disengaged.

Our client school is a smaller than average secondary school with around 900 pupils on roll. It is located in South Manchester, just a short drive from the city centre and easily accessible via public transport and Metrolinks.
The school received a positive Ofsted report in 2015 which judged them to be 'Good' in all areas including leadership and management, behaviour and safety of pupils, quality of teaching, achievement of pupils and sixth form provision.
