*** Food Technology in a Secondary School (KS3 and KS4) ***
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified Food Technology Teacher – located local to the Ilford area - to teach in their successful department. This consists of 5 other DT Teachers, however you will be the specialist Food Technology Teacher – consisting of Hospitality & Catering, and Food Preparation & Nutrition. Food Technology has proven to be a popular subject at KS4 and KS5, so you will be working with pupils ready to learn and keen to reach high attainment levels in this area.
It is essential you have experience as a teacher of Food Technology at Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4. You should be creative in your lesson delivery, as you will be teaching a range of ability levels. You will need to be organised, innovative and have a range of good behaviour management skills to draw on the student's interests, ensuring that progress is made.
The school are open to applications from Newly Qualified Food Technology teachers (NQT's) as well as experienced practitioners.
The role is full time. To be considered for this position you must:
* Food Technology Teacher – Ilford *
- Have experience as a Food Tech Teacher at KS3 & KS4.
- Deliver inspiring and engaging Food Technology Lessons. Ensuring that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results.
- Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE or QTLS
