Food Science and Technology - Future Teachers Graduate Scheme

Job description

Are you a passionate graduate with a degree in Food Science and Technology?

Join our Future Teachers Programme!

Teaching Personnel are the leading education agency and have built excellent relationships with a number of schools based in East Anglia, who are looking to enrol aspiring teachers onto our Future Teachers Programme.

Future Teachers is a specialist programme that has been designed to support recent graduates and former graduates looking for a change in career in fulfilling their potential, without the additional teacher training costs.

Future Teachers Can Offer:

  • Voluntary Online Learning - You will have access to our CPD academy, including six free support packs with content aligned to Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework. This is not mandatory in order to complete the future teachers programme, but would be useful with your professional and personal development. The specially-developed packs include useful documents and resources to support your role, reading materials and a badge upon completion of each pack!
  • A placement within a school for a minimum of one-term
  • Great rates of pay
  • A mentor at the school, to support you through the programme as well as our specialist consultants here at Teaching Personnel
  • The opportunity to plan lessons, shadow and observe teachers
  • Work in large classes, small groups and 1:1

We encourage all graduates to join the future teacher's programme, to gain practical classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor. This is a perfect opportunity to test your suitability to the profession, before committing to initial teacher training.

To join Future Teachers, experience working in schools is ideal but not essential. Although, you will need to demonstrate your ability to build relationships, manage behaviour and work well under pressure.

For more information on our Future Teachers Programme, please apply now to speak to our specialist consultants.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
