Job description

Teaching Assistant (KS2 & KS3)
Location: Dorchester
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: After February half term

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with schools in Dorchester to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant seeking a full-time position.

This role will involve supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, making it ideal for someone flexible and confident working with a range of age groups.

The Role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS2 and KS3
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
  • Assisting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Supporting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people preferred
  • Happy to cover both KS2 and KS3
  • Reliable, adaptable and proactive
  • Happy to commute to Dorchester
  • DBS on the Update Service preferred, but applicants are welcome to apply for a DBS through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
