Job description
We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about child‑centred learning and eager to play a key role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest pupils.
Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Summer Term – 8th June 2026
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons following the EYFS framework
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Foster children’s curiosity, confidence, and independence through play‑based learning
- Track, assess, and record progress in line with school and statutory requirements
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture within the early years setting
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent EYFS qualification
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
