EYFS Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Hours: Term Time Only + INSETS

Rawtenstall Primary School Requires an EYFS TA for after the Easter break.

The successful applicant must have experience working and assessing in an EYFS setting and comfortable working as part of a team. Candidates must be fully qualified. We are also able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Educational Professionals that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.

This school works exclusively with Teaching Personnel, recently we have supplied the school with two members of staff both of which are enjoying their time in school. The Head Teacher has noted "we are a welcoming one form entry Primary School, we work closely with the local community and have an experienced leadership team and look for enthusiastic staff! What I am looking for is somebody who is confident and familiar with the EYFS curriculum with a proven track record!"

This role is to begin after the Easter break, the school require complete commitment from the successful candidate as they had already secured a candidate who has now been offered a permanent role at another school. The class is made up of 27 pupils and the children are keen to learn with supportive parents. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
