A client primary school in the Longsight area of Manchester (M13) are recruiting for 2 teaching assistants to work across the schools newly developed Early Years provision. Due to expansion and a large intake of children in the EYFS in September, the school need additional staffing in order to offer each individual child the best possible education. The Teaching Assistant roles will be to work with children with in the EYFS who have specific educational needs. The ideal candidates will have EYFS experience and will have an understanding and compassion towards working with children with identified challenges.
The role is to work in a new school which was graded as 'GOOD' by OFSTED at its last inspection.
The school is dedicated to providing an 'outstanding education, which is respectful of the diverse ethnicity, religion, families, educational needs and abilities of all our children.' The school are looking for candidates who will embrace the close community feel of this primary school whilst work continually as a positive role model for children in the EYFS and across the school.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience working across the EYFS. The school are looking for teaching assistants who will bring positive attitudes and a good sense of humour.
This is a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants wanting to develop their careers in education in a lovely, state of the art, Manchester Primary school.
If you fit the above criteria and are looking for your next full time role then you are encouraged to get in touch. This role will start after the Easter holidays and will be ongoing. The opportunity to work onto a school based contract may be possible for the right person.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
