Learning Support Assistant Needed for Primary School in Greenwich

Teaching Personnel are working with a popular school in the Greenwich area to find a TA to join their friendly and supportive team of staff for September. The role will involve providing 1:1 support to two new students joining the reception class with a variety of behavioural issues. The role will last the full academic year. The school will often transfer candidates that have performed well to permanent positions.

The ideal candidate must show strong behaviour management strategies and ideally have Team Teach training. You should have ideally have experience working in Early Years or KS1 and good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. You should be able to show a strong commitment to improving the lives of young people and a good track record of raising pupil achievement. You will be joining a welcoming staff team that will help support you with this role and so strong teamwork skills are desirable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
