Early Years Teaching Assistant needed now

  • Cache Level 3 or Early Years Trained Teaching Assistant Needed
  • Flexible work - full and part time positions available
  • Experience with children 2 years and up

A high calibre school in Sheffield are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their hard-working Early Years team. We are currently seeking a Cache L3, or Early Years Qualified Learning Support Worker to work in the 2 Year Old Room of this school.

You will work with students identified with below average speech and language development on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning. Knowledge of Makaton and Phonics Schemes (such as Read Write Inc.) is advantageous. When working with the younger children, you may need to be involved in additional care, such as changing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new school, with new resources and facilities and the successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
