EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job description

A client school in the Withington area of Manchester (M20) are seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting learning across the EYFS and will have a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the 'Letters & Sounds Phonics Scheme'.

The school are looking for a teaching assistant who can work effectively with children to identify next steps and move children on with their learning. To be considered, you will have experience taking small groups interventions for targeted children and will be confident in working with children on a 1:1 basis.

The position is to work at a larger than average, 3 form entry primary school. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with a hard working attitude and a good sense of humour. Only candidates with experience in the EYFS will be considered. This position will start ASAP and will run up until the end of the academic year.
