EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job description

A 'GOOD' primary school in Longsight area of Manchester M12, are looking for a teaching assistant to work in their EYFS division on a full time basis starting after February half term. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the EYFS and will have a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum. To be considered for this post you will have prior experience delivering phonics to small groups and will have assisted children in all areas of their academic development.

This 1 form entry, Roman Catholic primary school is seeking an energetic teaching assistant who will build strong working relationships with staff, parents and the children across school. The school ensure all of their staff 'support wholeheartedly and are a guiding presence' to all children and they are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will support this nature.

To be considered for this post, you must have experience supporting children across the EYFS in an educational capacity. A sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum would be beneficial and the school would prefer a candidate with prior experience delivering the 'Jolly Phonics' framework for phonics. The school are seeking an optimistic individual with a hard working nature and an encouraging attitude.
