Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Glossop
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for children in the EYFS phase.
- Assist in the implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring that all children receive a well-rounded education that meets their individual needs.
- Provide one-on-one support to children who may require additional help with their learning or development.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote positive relationships and ensure the holistic development of each child.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to supporting children's development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training in early years education (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
