EYFS Teaching Assistant
The Headteacher and governing body of a reputable Primary School situated just outside of Garstang are on the look out to source a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis, five days per week working collaborative with the Early Years Class Teacher. The working hours for this role are 9:00-15:00 equating to 30 working hours per week. This school is easily accessible via the A6 and is to begin ASAP.
The Headteacher has expressed that the ideal candidate will have experience supporting children across Early Years (EYFS) or Key Stage 1. The school are not necessarily looking for an SEN Specialist– however they are looking for a practitioner who has experience working alongside children with SEMH and varying needs specifically across Early Years. In order to be considered The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with positive attitude and good sense of humour who can adapt quickly to suit the needs of each child – the Headteacher has expressed that no two days are the same at this school, therefore this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for a new and exciting opportunity and gain further experience in Early Years.

- Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant or higher
- Recent experience supporting pupils across EYFS or/and KS1 and providing interventions.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- Can develop positive, professional relationships and is able to fit in well with other staff members.
- Shares a passion for making a difference to the life of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
