EYFS Teaching Assistant - 'Good' primary school - Bury (BL9)
EYFS Teaching assistant needed for an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school based in Bury (BL9 ) starting in September 2018.
- 25 place reception class so experience working with large classes is essential
- Must be familiar with current EYFS curriculum
- Experience of using 'Jolly' and 'read write inc' Phonics is desirable
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a school in the Bury (BL9) looking for an early years teaching assistant to join their team on a fixed term contract. The head teacher is looking for a strong teaching assistant with previous experience in EYFS, the use of phonics schemes and a real passion for learning and working with young children using a 'learning through play' style. A firm understanding of the current early year's curriculum is essential and experience of using different phonics schemes is desirable.
This Bury based primary school has excellent facilities and has a 2017 Ofsted report of 'Good' finding high standards of care and behaviour. The primary school also has a strong focus on extra curriculum activities in and out of school hours with opportunities to join in with sports, art, music and drama projects.
- Salary from £9-£12 an hour depending on experience
- Starting date - 3rd September 2018
