Early Years - Reception Teacher - September Start S42

  • Working within EYFS unit
  • Knowledge of Phonic schemes will be beneficial
  • Maternity cover starting September 2017

Teaching Personnel are working closely with an inspirational, influential and well thought of primary school in Chesterfield S42, who are actively seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated Qualified Early Years teacher for a Reception class. As a reception teacher, you will be part of a supportive and hard working team Early Years Unit with staff dedicated to the academic success of their pupils.

The position is a Reception teacher within an Early Years Unit and is to start in September 2017 to cover a maternity leave.

This Chesterfield Primary school are looking for someone who is:-

• A good classroom practitioner.

• Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context.

• Passionate about learning through outdoor provision.

As a reception teacher, you must be familiar with the new EYFS Curriculum, have a genuine passion for working with young children and understand the importance of early years learning. An understanding of continuous provision, outdoor provision and knowledge of phonics schemes would be beneficial. Experience of subject specialisms and/or experience of co-ordinator roles would also be advantageous.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
