A reputable Bacup Primary School are seeking an Early Years (EYFS) Teacher to start upon the return to school in early November. The Head Teacher has expressed that he is looking for a practitioner who will support pupils and cultivate a love of learning. The school in Bacup is graded as GOOD by Ofsted. The Leadership is Outstanding and the Behaviour across school is GOOD. The school is located in the heart of Burnley which is commutable by car and public transport links. The successful practitioner must work collectively with the other staff in school and will preferably have at least two years’ experience in an EYFS class. The school are pushing for Outstanding status and so the Head teacher is keen to push standards, particularly in Phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.

The Role:

This role is on a long-term supply basis, with competitive rates starting from GBP100 per day and will increase dependent upon experience and workload. The role poses the possibility to be made permanent in the future.

You will need to hold the following; 

  • Experience in EYFS or a Primary School setting
  • Available for full time work
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the Early Years Sector
  • QTS is essential
  • Core Subject Knowledge of Phonics, reading, writing and mathematics
  • Good behaviour management skills
