Science Teacher at a Secondary School in Winchester 

About the School: Join our esteemed team at a Winchester school known for its 'Good' Ofsted rating with outstanding features and highly respectable students. We are currently seeking a passionate Science Teacher to contribute to our successful Science department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the school curriculum
  • Engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Science department

  • Committed and hardworking with a passion for teaching Science
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students' interest in Science
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and the school

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
