Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in Abergavenny Primary Schools:

Responsibilities for a Successful Teaching Assistant:

• Able to work under the guidance of the Teacher but also independently.
• Aid the day-to-day planning and set up of the classroom with the teacher.
• Display and bring positivity everyday inside and outside of the classroom.
• Maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
• Establish and proactive mentality and be prepared to become creative.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to their profession.

To be a Successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will need:

• 2 strong professional based references.
• Previous experience working with children in or outside of a classroom setting is (desirable but not essential).
• Possess a Child workforce only DBS on the update service and to be registered with the EWC (we can assist with both processes).

Start Date – ASAP (as soon as you’re cleared for work with us)

Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary - £12.90 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
