Level 3 qualified TA required to step up for two lessons a week

Work at Level 2 for the rest of the week supporting the class teacher in the EYFS unit

Experience working alongside the Early Years Curriculum is a necessity

Are you a confident Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant? Are you currently seeking work on a full time basis in the Blackburn area? Read on…as I may have the perfect role for you!

A school in the centre of Blackburn have recently approached Teaching Personnel in Lancashire in order to shortlist and appoint a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant who can effectively step up for two lessons across the working week (with the rest being paid at Level 2). The Head teacher is keen to appoint a bright and enthusiastic practitioner who can support the EYFS Curriculum effectively and encourage personal and social development. The role is to work in the EYFS department which is currently graded as Outstanding by OFSTED and support the needs of a number of children from 0845-1515. This role will be paid at 26.25 working hours across the week, with the pay being competitive between £8.41-£10 per hour.

The Head teacher has high standards for behaviour and academic development, and so the appointed practitioner will need to be able to fit into this mind set. It is preferable that the appointed teaching assistant will have a proven track record of working with children in the EYFS department, which can be discussed at interview and evidenced in a trial/observation lesson.

If you are interested in the above role, then please do not hesitate to contact me with a cover letter/email and your updated CV. Please make it specific on the CV where you qualified with your Level 3 in Teaching and Learning and where you have worked in an EYFS unit (and for how long).

I am contactable in the office as well on 01772 842155.
