EYFS specialist Teaching Assistant - Tameside

We are working with a client schools in the Tameside area (SK2) to recruit an outstanding EYFS teaching assistant. This is an average sized primary school with a real sense of community. The school prides itself on valuing all individuals and treating everyone fairly. The ideal candidate will specialise in raising attainment and have excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. It has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and supporting the best possible outcomes and opportunities for all is at the heart of everything the school does.
You will be working alongside the class teacher; planning and delivering high quality interventions. On a daily basis you will be working with groups of up to 6 children. The children are mainly working at lower than expected age related levels for Reading and Writing. We are looking for someone who is able to use different strategies to ensure challenging behaviour does not impact on the learning and development of the children's reading and writing. Your role will also include supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS curriculum.
It is essential that you have an accredited Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning in Schools.
