EYFS SEN Teacher
Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary SEN school in the South of Sheffield and are looking for an EYFS Teacher for a long term placement- starting after Easter and carrying through until December to cover maternity leave.
The school supports children with a range of needs including learning difficulties and physical disabilities. We would like candidates who have previous experience in SEN provisions. You must be energetic and enthusiastic in your teaching and be a good role model to the children in your classes. You must be able to create fun and accessible activities and find the best ways to communicate with your pupils, and recognise the individual ways in which they learn. The school prides themselves on their inclusive approach and providing a balanced curriculum for children in order to equip them with all the skills they need in the future.
About the role:
- Full time placement from April until December
- EYFS Teacher role for children with SEN- ASC and communication difficulties
- Ofsted 'Good' rated school with a welcoming team of staff
- Weekly pay- £110-£165 a day dependent on experience
About the candidate:
- Fully qualified teacher
- Makaton experience is preferred but not essential
- Experienced supporting or teaching students with Special Educational Needs
- Hold a current DBS which is on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
