EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Darlington

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEND school in the Darlington area to recruit a full time teaching assistant on a temporary basis. The role will commence ASAP on a short term basis, however it is likely that further roles will become available. The position will involve supporting several students with varying SEN, including SEMH, ASC and LAC. Experience from mainstream and SEND schools are welcomed, any relevant experience such as care work is also considered. You will be working closely with other qualified teaching assistants to learn more about the schools positive ethos for preparing students for life after school. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference to young people's education.

The ideal candidate will have:
-At least three months experience working with SEND
-TA Qualification, Level 3 (or relevant experience/degree)
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A patient and caring attitude
