Experience planning, delivering, and assessing Phonics across EYFS and KS1 is highly sought after.

The Head Teacher of a 'Good' Primary School in Accrington is looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work part-time across EYFS and KS1. The role will include egenral Teaching Assisatnt responsibilities as well as phonics intervention suppport. The role will commence upon the return to school in April and will initially run on a temporary basis for the remainder of teh academic year with the view for the firght person to be taken onto a permenant contract.

The successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 and small group Phonics booster session for EYFS and KS1 pupils in preparation for the Phonics screening.  Experience working with ‘Read, Write, Inc’ Phonics and delivering small group intervention is highly sought after for this role.
