Autism specialist - ASC Teaching Assistant required for Salford Primary School, M5.
Ability to work with Autistic children, traits of Autism and mechanisms to engage and include children.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with the SENCO and Inclusion Leader at a Primary school in Salford, M5.This Salford primary school are looking to recruit a 1:1 ASC support worker to work with a couple of children with Autism in the Early Years from January.
This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with ASC, whether it's on the verbal or non verbal spectrum. The school has a friendly environment and a hard-working supportive team. This is a great opportunity and one which will lead to a school's permanent contract in the future.
The Role:
- Young boy in Reception
- Clever boy but lacks social skills
- Using visual cards such as "Now and Next"
- Visual Timetables to communicate
- Team Teach Trained - not a necessity
