Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver English language lessons to students
- Assess students' language abilities and provide feedback
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in English language teaching
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
Education:
Degree in English Language Teaching or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English as a second language
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of English grammar and syntax
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes
- Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
- Experience teaching English to adults
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a temporary basis with part-time hours. The English Tutor will be based in Greater London, City of London. The tutor will work closely with students, parents, and other educational professionals to deliver high-quality English language instruction.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
