About the English Teaching Assistant role

As an English Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in the classroom, acting as an intermediary between the students and teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students who sit on the C/D borderline – ensuring they achieve their potential.

Person Specification – English Teaching Assistant

The school are searching for a candidate who has recently graduated with an English related degree – achieving at least a 2:1. The ideal English Teaching Assistant will have a strong academic background and possess a solid all-round knowledge of the subject. Previous experience of working with children is beneficial but not essential.
