Our partner secondary school in Tameside are looking to appoint an English teacher for January 2019 due to an upcoming departure within the English department. Located in the SK15 post code of Tameside this medium sized school is currently achieving academic year on year academic improvements since 2015 and is aiming to become an outstanding school in its 5 year plan.
This is a full time English teaching position where you will be expected to take on full time responsibilities for planning and marking your own work and assisting the department when needed. Initially you will be introduced to the school through Teaching Personnel on a two term temporary basis with the potential to earn a school based contract for September 2019.

The schools located in the SK6 post code of Stockport and has a direct train route from Manchester Piccadilly for those on public transport. Interviews and lesson observations will betaking place in the upcoming weeks so you will need to attend to be successful fro this History maternity cover.
To be successful for this English teaching post you will need to have previous experience of working in a UK Secondary school, suitable teaching references and eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
