English Teacher - Maternity Cover
Full-time English teacher required to cover a maternity gap within the English department of our partner Secondary school in South Liverpool, from October 2018.
The school wish to meet with interested English teachers prior to half term in order to appoint and induct the incoming English teacher in plenty of time easing the process of induction to the schools teaching faculty.

- Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale - £23,720 - £39,406
- Starting in October until July 2019
- Teaching English to students aged 11-16
The school require a passionate English teacher who is able to join the school on a full-time basis in October. You must have experience teaching English at GCSE level and be able to use effective and varied teaching methods in order to push your students to achieve excellent results and hit their target grade.
You will be responsible of a full-time English teaching timetable which will include classes of mixed abilities and GCSE classes. The role will include full planning and marking responsibilities and you may be required to take extra curricular classes in preparation for key GCSE exams in the summer.
Our client school currently has around 1000 students on roll and was graded as good with outstanding leadership during their most recent OFSTED inspection in 2018. You can find the school in South Liverpool and easily access it with a short drive from the M62. The school is in an ideal location if you are a user of public transport and can be easily accessed from train or bus.
