This is an exciting vacancy for an outstanding and adaptable Teacher of English. I am looking for a great teacher to make a big impact on the progression of Key Stage 3 & 4 students who have been excluded from mainstream School. You will be working closely along side the Deputy Head Teacher and Head Teacher to make real changes and progression. The school is looking for someone who wants to grow and develop their role and are looking for definite progression opportunities. The position will be a full time teaching timetable and you will be expected to plan prepare and deliver the curriculum to all year groups across KS3 & 4 teaching a variety of abilities. Class sizes are a maximum of 8 students with Teaching Assistants to also support. There is plenty of opportunity for 1:1 intervention and teaching sessions.

The right candidate must have -

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
• The ability to adapt lesson plans to suit the ability of students with various learning abilities
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A real passion for making a positive impact on your students lives
