English Teacher - The School;

English Teacher is required for a “GOOD” rated Ofsted school (2019) in the Hackney area. The school is seeking an English Teacher to begin working ASAP for a maternity cover position. There may be an opportunity for a permanent position in September / October 2020. The school is based around several stations on the London Overground and DLR. The school is located to a high street full of shops and other entertainment on offer. The school is a mixed comprehensive school that are seeking an English Teacher ASAP.

English Teacher – The Role;

The role will be teaching English predominantly to students at KS3 and KS4, however if you have the experience and ability to teach KS5 then this may be incorporated into your timetable. The school are willing to accept 4 days a week for this position.

English Teacher – Requirements;

• QTS, PGCE or QTLS are desirable but can be substituted for good experience.
• Experience as an English Teacher to KS3 and KS4 is essential.
• Knowledge of the UK English Curriculum.
